After six years of working in their Greenlane premises, Genesis Energy – the leading energy retailer in New Zealand - has recently refreshed their offices with new furniture to better support more modern ways of working. Vidak worked with Genesis and 4Work to create spaces that help foster greater innovation, collaboration and diversity of thought to enable them in their mission to continue “reimagining energy.”

The new space is fully Wifi enabled with staff on laptops utilizing universal docking stations and fixed dual monitors. Huddle soft seating, collaborative booths and TV Walls are arranged throughout the floors to encourage spontaneous, informal meetings. Chat Chairs and Retreat Focus Pods create comfortable, quiet spots for focused work. Blade Bar Leaners and Workstations provide generous worktops for meetings or task work. These spaces are supported with a range of accessories including Pitch and Draw boards for brainstorming.

The three-storey fitout was installed over five consecutive weekends to minimize disruption to the live office environment.
